Section 508 Accessibility

On June 21, 2001, it became mandatory for Federal Agencies to comply with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.  Section 508 requires that electronic and information technology that is developed, procured, maintained, or used by the Federal Government be accessible to people with disabilities.  Federal agencies that provide information to the public or to their employees through Web sites, or other electronic media, must ensure that the sites are available to all people with Internet or intranet access, including people with disabilities.

Cadmus is committed to providing software solutions that are compliant with the accessibility standards at 36 CFR 1194.  We will incorporate the Section 508 design guidelines into our software user interface planning and our commercial Web site development.  For more information on accessibility standards and applicable regulations, see the Section 508 Web site.
