Over the past few years, Cadmus has helped raise consumer awareness of EPA's ENERGY STAR® brand to 64 percent — higher than the U.S. EPA’s goal — and turned ENERGY STAR into the most trusted energy-efficiency resource.

The marketing communications materials we have created for ENERGY STAR offer flexibility to ENERGY STAR partners while maintaining the integrity of the ENERGY STAR identity.  Examples include:

  • Toolkits provided to the more than 250 manufacturers, retailers, utilities, and energy efficiency programs participating in the Change a Light, Change the World campaign. The toolkits contained templates for:
    • Bill stuffers
    • Print ads
    • Aisle violators
    • Shelf danglers
    • Banners
    • Web banners
    • Hang tags
    • Lighting brochures
    • Poster
  • The 60-plus page ENERGY STAR Identity Guidelines, which introduced the revised ENERGY STAR logo and visual identity and provided guidance to partners on how to best use the ENERGY STAR identity in the marketplace.
  • The ENERGY STAR Home Sealing Video we produced that featured Steve Thomas, then the host of PBS’s “This Old House.” More than 4,000 copies were distributed nationwide.
