Donna Jensen
Donna Jensen, a principal in the Drinking Water and Water Quality Group and head of our office in Helena, Montana, has 25 years’ experience with the Safe Drinking Water Act and its amendments. She is an expert in water system compliance with federal and state drinking water regulations, state implementation of drinking water programs, and evaluating the effectiveness of water treatment systems.
Ms. Jensen plays a key role in developing technical guidance documents and training materials that cover federal drinking water regulations. Since 1999 she has managed our support of the national surveys Cadmus undertakes for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to estimate the 20-year infrastructure investment needs of drinking water systems. She also manages our support for the Aircraft Drinking Water Rule, two EPA public right-to-know rules, technical assistance to state and EPA regional drinking water programs, and sanitary surveys of drinking water systems.
Donna Jensen holds a bachelor’s in microbiology, chemistry minor, and a master’s in microbiology with a water quality emphasis from Colorado State University. Before joining Cadmus, she was with Montana’s Public Water Supply Program for 8 years. Ms. Jensen also has over 11 years’ experience conducting laboratory analyses for microbial contaminants, indicator organisms, and protozoa in drinking water.
