Frank Letkiewicz

Frank Letkiewicz is a principal in the Drinking Water and Water Quality Group, working out of our Washington, DC-area offices in Arlington, Virginia. He has more than 30 years’ experience as an environmental scientist and specializes in risk assessment, exposure assessment, health effects assessment, regulatory impact analyses, and environmental policy analysis for several U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulatory programs.

Mr. Letkiewicz is an expert in EPA’s process for developing national primary drinking water regulations. Since the early 1980s, he has provided national occurrence and exposure analyses, risk assessments, and benefit/cost modeling in support of EPA’s development of several drinking water regulations, including national standards addressing organic and inorganic chemicals, radionuclides, and pathogenic microbes. Mr. Letkiewicz also has lent his technical expertise to the development of the contaminant candidate list (CCL) classification process, in particular for the scoring system used to place contaminants of potential concern on the CCL, and to EPA’s review of drinking water standards every 6 years.
 
Frank Letkiewicz received his bachelor’s in biochemistry from the University of Maryland. Prior to joining Cadmus in 1998, he held positions with Abt Associates, SAIC, and the EPA Office of Toxic Substances.
