Jane Obbagy

Vice President Jane Obbagy manages Cadmus’s Emerging Markets Group, which provides technical support for international development activities—including environmental stewardship and risk assessment—and private-sector efforts to foster corporate social responsibility programs around the world. She also leads the ongoing development of Cadmus’s Strategic Environmental Consulting Practice, a major component of the firm’s growth strategy. Ms. Obbagy joined Cadmus in August 2006 after holding executive positions in several Greater Boston consulting firms, where she focused on environmental, health, and safety (EHS) issues and on environmental risk.

A veteran of more than 20 years consulting on international and environmental issues, Ms. Obbagy is a widely published expert in helping organizations establish and implement strategies to manage EHS risks in a responsible manner. She was, for 4 years, a member and chair of the Board of Environmental, Health & Safety Certifications. She is a member of The Environmental Manager’s Compliance Advisor Board of Experts. The recipient of 10 Star Case Awards for outstanding performance in undertaking high-visibility or complex project work for clients, Jane Obbagy holds an M.A. in urban and environmental policy from Tufts University and a B.A. in environmental studies from the University of Vermont.
