Projects worked on:

I primarily work on drinking water regulation development for EPA's Office of Ground Water and Drinking Water. To help EPA understand the potential financial and public health impacts of a rule, we prepare an economic analysis. One of my main roles is to build cost models and compare the costs to the potential benefits (illnesses and deaths avoided by implementing the rule). Once a rule goes into effect, I work on developing guidance manuals to help water systems understand and comply with the rule. Recently, I helped manage EPA's Community Water Systems Survey, a national survey of treatment, capacity, and financial characteristics of drinking water systems. The survey results will be incorporated into cost models for future regulations.

Favorite thing about Cadmus:

The friendly and supportive environment, and the opportunity to work on multiple projects, across different groups and offices.

Hobbies/activities outside of work:

I enjoy reading, classical arts, and spending time outdoors.
