Cadmus’ Homeland Security Sector Adds Deanne Criswell as Principal

WASHINGTON, DC, February 2, 2017—The Cadmus Group, Inc. (Cadmus) announced today that it has hired Deanne B. Criswell as a principal in its growing homeland security sector. Criswell will be leading Cadmus’ engagement with state and local homeland security and emergency management clients.

Cadmus provides homeland security management consulting and training services for federal, state, and local government agencies, as well as leading private sector companies. These services include the support and development of risk assessments and high-impact exercises across a range of security challenges, such as cybersecurity, natural hazards, terrorist attacks, climate adaptation, and public health risks.

“Deanne is a highly respected national leader in overseeing the federal response to disasters and we are very excited to have her join the Cadmus team,” said Ian Kline, Cadmus president and CEO.“Deanne’s addition to our homeland security sector offers yet another example of Cadmus’ commitment to providing the exceptional technical expertise and experience necessary to help our clients achieve their critical missions.”

Criswell’s career includes executive experience in federal, military, and local government response to complex incidents and disasters. As the leader of one of the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA’s) National Incident Management Assistance Team (N-IMAT) and as a federal coordinating officer, Deanne was the point person for federal coordination with governors, mayors, and Whole Community leaders in a range of disasters across the country. As the manager of our Homeland Security State and Local practice, Deanne will be integrating the broad suite of Cadmus consulting expertise and services for our clients across the nation,” said Dr. Kevin O’Prey, Cadmus senior vice president and homeland security sector operating unit director. “She brings essential operational experience and wisdom to our already strong homeland security offerings.”
