Cadmus to Support LEED Certification for Storey Park Development
Waltham, Mass., December 30, 2013—The Cadmus Group, Inc. (Cadmus) announced today it has been awarded a contract to deliver Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design® (LEED) commissioning and enhanced commissioning services on Storey Park, a mixed-use project to be developed by First Potomac Realty Trust and Perseus Realty. LEED is a program implemented by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) for the rating and certification of high performance green buildings. This important project contributes to the ongoing revitalization of the Washington, D.C., neighborhood known as NoMa, near Union Station.
Commissioning is a quality assurance process that tests building systems prior to occupancy to ensure that owner and design requirements are met in construction.
