The Portland Press-Herald reports on a study conducted by Cadmus on behalf of Efficiency Maine Trust that concluded homes and businesses in Maine could reduce overall electricity consumption by 16 percent in the next decade by installing more energy-efficient lights, equipment, and appliances.
