For more than a decade, Cadmus has undertaken capacity-building projects for the U.S. Agency for International Development; for host governments in developing countries in such diverse regions as Central Asia, Eastern Europe, Sub-Saharan Africa, South America, and Central America; and for private sector clients operating throughout the world.
Our capacity-building philosophy emphasizes facilitated shared learning to build on past successes and to develop best practices that will continue to inform clients’ organizational decision-making. We customize our services to accommodate unique organizational philosophies and regulatory frameworks, resulting in well-informed practices that stick with participants and advance each organization’s goals.
Cadmus provides capacity-building support for host governments and the private sector clients in such areas as:
- Environmental auditing
- Environmental impact assessment
- Environmental protection and climate change strategy
- Organizational development
- Principles of environmental management
As the lead trainer for USAID’s environmentally sound design and management capacity-building and environmental impact assessment regulations, Cadmus has developed several training courses in many developing countries around the world.
