Environmental Assurance

Cadmus staff members have for many years been at the forefront of advancing the design and implementation of environmental, health and safety (EHS) assurance programs. We typically work with boards of directors, corporate executives, EHS directors, and attorneys under attorney-client privilege to help our clients more effectively evaluate the implementation of EHS responsibilities. The services we offer include:

  • Evaluating the assurance function and examining EHS auditing, improving reporting to the board, enhancing the efficiency of assurance activities, developing focused metrics, and assessing the methods and content of internal and external reports.
  • Assisting companies in developing and modifying assurance programs to meet strategic business needs, such as supplier/customer assurance, joint venture validation, and assessment of corporate social responsibility initiatives.
  • Conducting customized training to build and maintain core competencies in auditing and in assessing performance across a broad set of environmental and social issues.
  • Conducting and participating in audits to provide an independent third-party perspective on a facility’s or operation’s compliance status and to assist organizations with their internal EHS assurance programs by participating on client-led audit teams or coaching client auditors in the field.
