Vice President Karen Horkitz oversees the strategic direction and growth of Cadmus’ energy program and market analysis practice within the firm’s energy sector.
Ms. Horkitz has more than 20 years’ experience leading analytical, marketing and customer experience functions for companies in the energy, telecommunications, and Internet services industries. With extensive experience as both a provider and client of analytical services, Ms. Horkitz is particularly adept at designing and executing research and evaluation assessments that deliver actionable insights to drive customer engagement, effective strategy, and business results. Her specific expertise includes market research, marketing strategy, market transformation, customer insights, customer focus, program management, and program evaluation.
Prior to joining Cadmus in 2014, Ms. Horkitz was a member of the executive team for the Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (NEEA), where she served in a variety of leadership positions for more than a decade. Most recently, she oversaw the execution of NEEA’s market transformation program portfolio. She previously developed and led NEEA’s market research, evaluation, strategic planning, and stakeholder services functions. Ms. Horkitz is widely regarded as an expert in market transformation program design and evaluation; she has developed and delivered presentations and trainings on these topics for a variety of audiences.
Ms. Horkitz holds a B.A. in economics, summa cum laude, from Emory University and an M.S. in management from the M.I.T. Sloan School of Management.
