Mark Michalski is a professional communicator and program manager with over a decade of experience developing and executing marketing and engagement initiatives for residential, commercial, and institutional audiences within the energy industry. As a senior associate with Cadmus, he leads the strategic marketing services practice within the firm’s energy sector.
Mr. Michalski is adept in diagnosing market needs for emerging technologies and services and developing results-oriented strategic communications, outreach, and engagement initiatives using data-driven marketing strategy and creative channel delivery. He currently serves as principal investigator for the Massachusetts ENERGY STAR® Consumer Products & Lighting marketing initiative, and has led or supported numerous marketing projects for public, private, and not-for profit clients. His specific expertise includes marketing and promotional strategy, customer and stakeholder engagement, market research and evaluation, and social media.
His previous work at the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) consisted of managing a variety of large-scale, multi-stakeholder residential energy efficiency programs, designed to increase the supply of and demand for energy-efficient consumer products. In addition, he assisted in the design, implementation, and management of several bounty, rebate, incentive, and marketing initiatives throughout the state from 2005 to 2010.
Mr. Michalski holds a B.S. in marketing from the State University of New York at Oswego and an MBA in new ventures from the State University of New York at Albany. He is a member of the American Marketing Association and the Association of Energy Service Professionals.
