Peter Trick

Executive Vice President Peter Trick is in charge of Cadmus’ services to the U.S. federal government and other domestic and international public sector markets. His fields of expertise include natural resources management, environmental law, environmental policy analysis, quantitative modeling, program implementation, and program evaluation. Most recently, he has led a comprehensive campaign to reimagine the United States’ energy, transportation, and environmental infrastructures.

An environmental attorney by training, Mr. Trick has combined his knowledge of the law and policy analysis in delivering more than four decades of professional experience in government service and consulting. His focus has been to improve the quality of life and economic competitiveness of the United States and developing nations by strengthening national, state, and local government efforts in natural resources management, environmental protection, and infrastructure enhancement.

Mr. Trick has contributed to the design, operation, and evaluation of energy, natural resource management, and environmental protection programs. He played a key role in the implementation of the Clean Water Act and has supported capacity building and institutional strengthening for environmental protection in numerous developing countries. He has also carried out international consulting activities in policy analysis, legal drafting, and institutional analysis and strengthening in Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe, the former Soviet Union, the Middle East, South America, the Caribbean, and Africa.

Prior to joining Cadmus, Mr. Trick served as senior vice president in charge of the Energy, Transportation, and the Environment client service for Booz Allen Hamilton. He has also served as vice president of environmental and organizational services at SRA International and a senior vice president with the Marasco Newton Group. He received his Juris Doctor with honors from George Mason University and his Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in political science and German from Rice University. Mr. Trick serves on the executive board of The Nature Generation.
