Steve Cofer has co-led Cadmus’ residential engineering team since 2011 and has over 15 years of experience successfully designing, marketing, delivering, and evaluating energy-efficiency programs. His expertise encompasses large portfolio management, field logistics and coordination, measurement and verification design and analysis, and report writing. Mr. Cofer has conducted dozens of process and impact evaluations for Cadmus clients across the country. These range from single-program to portfolio evaluations of established, new, and emerging technologies, as well as renewables, demand response and low-income customer assistance programs.
Mr. Cofer also leads the Cadmus field service solutions group. He has developed the field staff, data collection software, and scheduling support to collect data to perform measure verification or extensive whole-building data collection with metering.
Before joining Cadmus, Mr. Cofer worked at one of the premiere energy-efficiency implementation companies in the United States, where he helped start and manage the company’s grocer and refrigeration programs. He provided strategy, management, and implementation.
Mr. Cofer holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies from the University of Kansas.
