Drinking Water State Revolving Fund Implementation
The Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) is a vital source of low- or no-cost financing for qualified infrastructure improvements at drinking water systems. Cadmus has provided significant technical support to the program since its establishment in the 1996 Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) Amendments. Our work includes:- Facilitation and logistical support for all EPA/State SRF Work Group meetings and public meetings held to design and develop the program
- Fact sheets that show how the integrated tools from DWSRF programs can help water systems comply with drinking water rules, improve water efficiency, protect source water, optimize treatment, and maintain distribution system integrity
- In-depth case studies of how each state assesses the capacity of water systems that apply for DWSRF assistance and targets assistance to disadvantaged communities (A SDWA requirement)
- Issue papers and white papers on full-cost pricing, eligible growth, Brownfields, non-structural solutions to infrastructure needs, and other technical subjects
- Financial training and training in state DWSRF program implementation for staff at EPA Headquarters and regional offices
- Guidance manuals, brochures, reports to Congress, annual reports, industry reports, and handbooks.
