Sharing Expertise and Insights: The Cadmus Speakers Institute

Consultants at Cadmus are often asked to appear at conferences, association meetings, and other events throughout the world.

Our speakers are scientists; statisticians; economists; marketing, public relations, and communications professionals; attorneys; and public policy analysts. Among them are:

  • G. Tracy Mehan III, an attorney who has worked on natural resources and environmental issues for almost 20 years. He served as Assistant Administrator for Water at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and as director of the Missouri Department of Natural Resources and the Michigan Office of the Great Lakes. He is a member of the Environmental Law Institute, the Water Environment Federation, and the Potomac Conservancy. Mr. Mehan also is an Adjunct Professor of Environmental Law at George Mason University School of Law.
  • David Korn is an energy efficiency expert with more than 18 years of experience helping governments and utilities address complex and challenging environmental engineering issues. His broad range of experience in energy conservation includes conducting detailed technical evaluations of products such as industrial transformers and managing a multi-million dollar regional effort to promote energy efficiency and ENERGY STAR® products. A principal at Cadmus, Mr. Korn manages the company’s energy efficiency and renewables practice.
  • Jane E. Obbagy is a vice president and head of Cadmus’ Emerging Markets Group. She is an expert in helping organizations establish and implement strategies to manage environmental, health, and safety risks in a responsible manner. Before joining Cadmus, she was an environmental management consultant with Arthur D. Little (ADL) and held numerous positions including vice president, director of the EHS Training Institute, and manager of the Compliance and Risk Management Consulting Practice. She was chair and a board member of the Board of Environmental, Health & Safety Certifications and currently is a member of the Environmental Manager’s Compliance Advisor Board of Experts.
  • Mark Stoughton, Ph.D., is an expert in environmental sound design and management of small-scale development activities. As the co-director of the international management practice, he has worked extensively on business and environmental issues, using life-cycle and full-cost accounting techniques to inform both corporate strategy and public policy. He recently engaged in a 3-year research program to assess the use of innovative service-based business models to generate environmentally sound value-added and competitive advantage. Dr. Stoughton is an experienced teacher and trainer. He has taught at the high school and undergraduate levels and in professional-development seminars and workshops.

We will need to know the date, place, and time of your event, the estimated number of attendees, and the audience profile (in other words, will the speaker be addressing attorneys, regulators, citizen groups?).
